All lanes of the 91 Freeway in Orange County have reopened after a deadly SWAT standoff caused it to shut down earlier today. The suspect is dead after a pursuit and a nearly four-hour standoff that forced a complete closure of the freeway.
The 270 million 1591 Express Lanes Connector Project, which began last April, is ongoing. Overnight lane closures will continue for bridge construction in Long Beach and roadway excavation in Cerritos.
